About St. Rose Catholic Elementary School

St. Rose Grade School offers a Catholic education from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. We currently have openings in all grade levels. Our curriculum incorporates the use of our new state of the art technology center, enthusiastic volunteers, and dedicated faculty. We offer Title I / Sylvan Learning as well as in-school tutoring to qualifying students.

Religious Education: All students participate in classes to help develop their connection with God and their realization of the place of faith in their lives. A regular series of service projects help students develop a sense of their responsibility to help make the world a better place. Catholic students are instructed in the Sacraments as directed by Church doctrine. Non-Catholic students are welcome and encouraged to participate and share their faith.

Academic Program: The full range of academic subjects is included. Students are encouraged to develop strong problem solving skills as well as mastery of key facts and concepts. The curriculum for all grades Pk-8 includes regular classes in Art, Computer Literacy, Music, Physical Education, and Spanish.

Extracurricular: As a small school, St. Rose offers a small student to teacher ratio to nourish students= learning. Our small size, however, does not limit our ability to offer a variety of extracurricular activities, including:

Athletics: The full range of activities sponsored by the Catholic Schools Athletic Association is available. Activities include:

• Golf Soccer Softball
• Swimming Tennis Track
  

After School Care is available from dismissal to 6:00 PM each day.
